Foucault and madness

The approach fundamentally anti-psychiatry of the French philosopher has tended to analyze all the madness through the ages considered. Going beyond a mere history of the individual events, Foucault writes a genealogy of madness, helping to innovate, both methodologically and conceptually, the entire history of ideas.
